Marilyn Monroe proudly poses with her baby bump for Sam Shaw, Summer 1957.
Sadly, Marilyn had an ectopic pregnancy in the August and remained in hospital for ten days. She became pregnant again a year later during the filming of Some Like It Hot, however she would miscarry. Marilyn was told in 1959, after having an operation to correct her issues with conceiving, that she would never be able to have children. [x]
Marilyn said in 1962 to George Barris, friend and photographer, that the thing she wanted more than anything was to have a baby.
